In this post we want to show some of the simulations that we are performing together with the Nimesis Inc. partner for the wheels load and deformation on our AngelicvM 1 rover.
On the simulations we can see how much the wheels can be deformed to go from open to close mode or vice-versa and how the wheel material is dealing with the rover load while is static as also when the rover is moving. This simulations allow us to test different wheels shapes as also select the correct material specifications and features to properly allow our river to work on the Moon.
